Sid’s Auto opened it’s doors in 2003 when owner Sid Vannoy decided to devote his 30+ years of auto repair experience to serving the Bay View area. After several years working for the “big guys” such as Volvo, Goodyear, Chevy, Meineke (to name a few), he realized that the repair processes at these companies didn’t align with his ethics and professional workflow because he’d just be handed a sheet of paper listing the repairs needed without actually being able to diagnose the vehicle beforehand. Sid decided to do business the right way. which, to him, means finding the repairs needed and fixing at a fair price, taking away the extras the corporate shops put in to make an extra buck.
